1. The Milky Way

2. Hele Bay
Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round at Hele Bay – a small cove situated on the edge of Ilfracombe. The sand and shingle beach is easily accessible and boasts lots of rock pools for exploring and splashing in! Facilities include a cafe/restaurant, toilets, first aid point, shop and slipway

3. Saunton Sands Beach
Saunton is a hugely dog friendly beach that welcomes waggy tails 365 days of the year, making it a perfect location to holiday with your dog.The zoning system means that you only have to have your dog on its lead for the first five minutes of your walk, after which point you have 3.5 miles of free-run sand!

4. Broomhill Sculpture Gardens
Broomhill Sculpture Gardens lie in a beautiful valley in Muddiford, near Barnstaple. Dogs are welcomed in the gardens, however please note that they are not allowed in the house. The sculpture gardens are surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland and bound by a beautiful stream.

5. The Williams Arms, Braunton
A superb family-run dog-friendly pub in Braunton. With freshly-cooked traditional pub food, a selection of real ales and a carvery with a reputation for being one of the finest in the South West, the Williams Arms is a must for a family meal out!

6. The Chichester Arms, Morthoe
“Wonderful food, friendly staff, child and dog friendly – The food was amazing, succulent meats, tasty vegetables. Not a bad price either, the specials were around £10 a meal. 7. Okehampton Castle
The ideal site for dogs who need lots of space to enjoy their walks! Okehampton Castle is one of the largest castles in Devon – Set in a stunning wooded spur above the River Okement. There is a riverside picnic area and woodland walks nearby, so bring a hamper and make a day of it!

8. Treasure Trails Devon
Treasure Trails are created for all the family to enjoy – including your dog! The routes often include parks, woodland areas and riversides, as well as areas with shops and cafés with outdoor seating. With routes all over Devon, you’llfind it hard to choose which one you want to explore first! Find a route.

9. Lynton and Lynmouth Beaches
Lynton has a small sandy beach with rocks at low tide, whilst at Lynmouth you’ll find a longer sandy beach, again with rocks at low tide. Both are dog-friendly all year. Travel on the famous cliff railway from Lynton and down to the picturesque sea front for some excellent scenery and walks along the the Lyn River.
